The Swan Inn is a traditional, stone-built village pub dating back to the 13th century. Cosy bed and breakfast accommodation and a comfy bar providing pub food and real ales await your visit. The pub boasts a wealth of character features such as oak beams, a roaring log fire and a warm friendly environment – all set in a stunning rural location.
A comforting and relaxing restaurant (seating up to 35) awaits you or you may prefer to enjoy a pie and a pint by the fire or in our snug with comfy sofas, hops hanging from the ceiling and a selection of board games for the young (or young at heart).
We have three individually designed, en-suite rooms with higgledy-piggledy doors and floors, traditional features and brass beds. We offer a traditional full Welsh breakfast or perhaps you’d prefer our speciality: locally smoked salmon and free-range eggs.
We are located in Pontfadog; a small village in North Wales, near Llangollen and along the B4500 from Chirk. We are surrounded by beautiful countryside and within a 90 minute drive from all the attractions offered by the whole of North Wales.
